Okay, so you know when you find a really good series,
and you can't help but to wonder...
How Much More Joy
Is This Author Going To Bless Us With?
Or in other words,
how many books are left in this series?

If that needing-to-know-feeling is eating you up, and you have
to know, I have the answer to all your problems. (Yay, Me!)
I took a good chunk of my afternoon yesterday cyber-stalking
all the authors of some amazing series,(which i guess you could do, but why?)
i have all of them laid out all for your personal enjoyment.

So, what are we waiting for...

Alyson Noel's "Immortals" series...

The Immortals series is to include Five! books. :)
"Evermore" and "Blue Moon" were released in 2009, (Blue Moon- July 7th, 2009)

and the other three books are scheduled to release in 2010. I do believe the next
book is called "Shadowland", but don't hold me accountable on that one.

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Kelley Armstrong's "Darkest Powers" series...

Not confirmed as the last of the series, but Kelley Armstrong will be writing
four books in the Darkest Powers series. "The Reckoning" will be the title
of her newest book, and will be released on May 6th, 2010.

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Claudia Gray's "Evernight" series...

Claudia Gray's Evernight series has been bought for a
four book saga, though Claudia Gray has ideas for beyond
four books. (Hourglass will be released in 2010)

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Marissa Doyle's "Bewitching Season" series...

Now, I am not certain if this is the end of the series, but
right now the series is a trilogy. Marissa Doyle's third book,
"Waterloo plot", will be released in 2010.

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Meg Cabot's "Airhead" series...

Now, once again I am not sure if this is where the series ends,
but as for now, the series is planned as a trilogy. Runway, Meg Cabot's
third book in the trilogy, will be released May 2010.

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Lisa McMann's "Dream Catcher" series...

I'm afraid to report that after Gone, to be released on February 9th, 2010,
will be the last of the series. :(  (I know, I know, I feel your pain.)

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Michael Scott's "Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" series...

After the first three books in the saga, Michael Scott has 3 more
books scheduled, for a total of six books. The titles of the latter three are "The Necromancer",
"The Warlock", and "The Enchantress."

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Richelle Mead's "Vampire Academy" series...

Richelle Mead will end her wonderful Vampire Academy series
once it reaches six. Following "Blood Promise", to be released
August 25th, 2009, will be "Spirit Bound", to be released April 29th, 2010.

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Ellen Schreiber's "Vampire Kisses" series...

The Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber, has been scheduled
for a grand total of eight books.
:)  Honestly, I have no idea when the
next book is scheduled to release, sorry.
=(

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Rachel Caine's "Morganville Vampires" series...

Okay, I will admit it, I am totally confused on the number of books scheduled for this
series. I know Rachel Caine had her contract extended but I'm not sure to what number,
though. I'm pretty sure it's nine, maybe ten?
(If you know the exact number please let me know. Please&Thankyou)

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Melissa Marr's "Wicked Lovely" series...

I could not find any direct facts about the series,
but on Goodreads it shows that in fact there shall
be a fourth book in the series called "Skin Starved",
and will be released in 2010. Yay!

Don't believe me, check it out here.

L.J. Smith's...

"Vampire Diaries" series...

(No the new trilogy...)

L.J. Smith's new Vampire Diaries series, will be a trilogy,
and the next title will be called "Shadow Souls", and be released
in 2010.

Don't believe me, check it out here.

"Night World" series...

Sorry, this is it. =(

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Heather Brewer's "Chronicles of Vladimir Tod" series...

Heather Brewer's Chrinicles of Vladimir Tod series will have, you guessed it, a total of five books
ending the series with "Twelth Grade Kills", not sure what the fourth/ eleventh grade book is titled.

Don't believe me, check it out here.

P.C. and Kristin Cast's "House of Night" series...

The House of Night series is currently planned for twelve books. Wow, that's
all I got to say. The next book "Tempted" will be released on October 27th, 2009.

E. Lockhart's "Ruby Oliver" series...

E. Lockhart will be writing one more Ruby Oliver book,
to make a whopping total of four books. :)

Don't believe me, check it out here.

Stephenie Meyer's "The Host" series...

Stephenie Meyer is making her debut adult book The Host,
into a trilogy. I know what your thinking , The Host had such a great
ending how is Steph going to make it into a series? Well, I don't know
but the second book, "The Seeker", will be released in 2010, and the
third book, "The Soul", wil be released in 2012.

Don't believe me , check it out here.

And now, one of my most-anticipated series, Drum Roll please.....

Melissa De la Cruz's "Blue Bloods" series...

Melissa De la Cruz will be turning her Blue Bloods series into
a ten book saga. "Van Alen Legacy" will be released October 1st, 2009.

(atleast for now-- more to possibly come, you never know.) :)

Alas, ye land lubbers, Dani has returned.
Whoop, whoop!

And I couldn't be any happier if I won the lottery.
Wait,
scrath that, that would make me happier.

So, I have come to a very important conclusion about
what's next for my reading selection.
I have decided that I am going to read all of my guilty-
little-pleasures/girly-books-aimed-at-a younger-age-group

books out of the way.
that's not to say I will stop reading them altogether after, their called
guilty pleasures for a reason.

I just want to get through all of them so I can move on to some of my other
long-awaited books.

The first of my guilty-pleasure books is the "Private" series by Kate Brian.

(Suspicion comes out September 8th, 2009)

Another one of my guilty-pleasures is the "Gallagher Girls" series by Ally Carter.

Yet another one of my guilty-pleasures is the infamous "Clique" series by Lisi Harrison.

(Boys 'R' Us comes out on July 7th, 2009)

The last of my summer guilty-pleasures is the "Pretty Little Liars" series by Sara Shepard.

(Killer comes out July 1st, 2009....well, today)

I've drawn up a schedule for when I plan to complete each of my guilty-pleasures.
Note: These are subjective to change, whether it be me blowing through a certain book early, or something comes up, I can almost guarantee you this will be not be the finality of the end-dates, things change.

(Note: Other Books in Calendar: June- "Marked" by P.C. and Kristin Cast, July- "Vampire Diaries: Awakening and Struggle", "Vampire Diaries: Fury and Dark Reunion", "Vampire Diaries: Return Volume 1" by L.J. Smith, and "Wicked Lovely", "Ink Exchange", and "Fragile Eternity" by Melissa Marr)

A Changed Cranium.

So, I had been thinking I don't really like the way I did my "Mortal Instruments" reviews. I'm thinking I will probably delete the entry, and my second enrty, because it's basicly an introduction to how I'll review my books. And that's just not going to cut it. So I will be posting those entries on my other LiveJournal- Danison. Eventually I'll probably even post this on that journal, it's basicly just a space holder, even though the name is VERY cool. =)

So yeah. Hope to be doing WAY better blogs soon, I have aa couple good ideas.
Peace Out,
   Dani. <333

Greetings Earthlings!

Take Me To Your Leader..... We Come In Peace!

Hello out there!
As this is my first entry, I feel compelled to introduce myself.
Though I feel as if it is imposible to capture someone's essence in an About Me, I shall try my best.
Here it goes....

The name is Dani.
I try to keep an open mind about things and am always up to
try something new.
I happen to be a very random individual.

Told you.

I am a lover of the arts, that's for sure.
The usual origins of my devotion are books, movies, TV, and music.
Books. Wow to say I love books is a huge understatement. I could go on forever about books, so I'm thinking I'll save that for another entry, or 100 entries. = )
Movies. I lovelovelove movies! I am very open with my movie selection. I am a fan of all genres of movies, except however westerns, though I've been told it's because I've never seen one with Clint Eastwood (hey i saw "Gran Torino" though that wasn't a western), but I'm still a bit apprehensive. But I might be turned on to them seeing as Robert Pattinson has been casted in one called "Unbound Captives", to be released in 2010.
Well anyway, I love movies and have a wide spectrum of my favorites. (One day I'll devote an entry to it, but for now...)
TV.
I admit it, you caught me and I surrender, I can sometimes be what you were raised not to be, a couch potato. As with movies I can be open minded with my shows, but with all the crappy shows out there, I am a little more picky-choosy with my selection. However, I am a marketer's dream, I am easily swayed to give a show a try if I here just one good review, well one really good review. (Also like with movies, I promise I will make an entry, or possibly several, to my TV shows, but right now I'm just keeping it brief.)
Music.
So, and this might be the breaking point for which seperates me from the rest of the US but, I am not obsessed with music. Now that's not to say I don't like music, which would be un-true. Let it be known that I do like music, very much so actually, the thing that makes me different from others is that I am not obsessed with it as much as others are. Having said that there is the potential is there, though the fact of me not having an iPod (had some: either broke them or computer problems or had system glitches that just didn't work out) or access to Limewire (long story) it makes things a little harder to be a music obsessee. Anywho, when I am listening to music it's either from the radio or YouTube (the radio is where I find new music, YouTube is where I play it while on computer),
I mostly listen to alternative / new rock, but i occasionally find a song or two i like on the Top 40, and am a
moderate fan of the classics. (in my book the classics means good older songs from a previous generation, in most cases my parent's generation due to I was raised on that stuff, but not necessarily the genre defined "classics")

In other news....
Photography. I am not persay a photographer, but it does interest me immensely. Currently, I own a Sony Digital Camera and just do the basic stuff, take pictures with family and friends, take it on vacation and exciting places etc., but would definately like to get one of those big, black, classic, cool cameras and explore the wonderous world of photography.
Video Taping. I am at the moment, in the works of saving up for a shiny, new video camera. Oh boy let me tell you when that day comes when I have that awesome little contraption I shall take the world by storm. Watch out world, I am now equipped with a video camera and who knows what kind of mishaps and mayhem I shall inflict upon this planet we call Earth. Let me tell you i will probably VBlog like no other, and all bunch of other shiz.
(Hmmmmm....... maybe I should get a web cam. Ohhh the possibilities, the possibilities.)

Okay, so basically I only really talked about my interests in the form of the arts, not much of an "About Me" I know, but I feel as if I'm just rambling and I really should get back to my book, I'm at a very captivating part, but there will be more coming, I promise, and pinky swear.

Peace Out.
